Shah Rukh Khan, the badshah of bollywood who celebrated his 44th birthday on Monday with his wife Gauri Khan and children- Aryan, Suhani- has rued the fact that last year was not as great as he expected it to be in terms of success.
In fact, Shah Rukh Khan was more disappointed with his IPL (Indian Premier League) team Kolkata Knight Riders failure in all departments of the game than his movie career in bollywood. Shah Rukh pointed out to the fact that despite of making all the right moves from selecting an Australian coach to appointing New Zealander McCullum as captain, all the decisions had misfired.
Even in bollywood, he could release only one of his films ‘Billu Barber’, where he played a cameo while Irrfan Khan played the title role.

However, Shah Rukh Khan does not have regrets for bollywood as he knows that it was all due to his shoulder injury and nothing else. If not for his shoulder injury, his dream project with Karan Johar ‘My Name Is Khan’ would have released this year itself and would have proved a blockbuster at the box office.
Similarly, King Khan’s other movies like Anubhav Sinha’s‘Ra one’, Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ etc got delayed due to his shoulder injury. In fact, Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Ra one’ has Shah Rukh Khan playing the character of a super hero, and hence he would need to perform heavy duty stunts for the flick.
But it was not possible with his shoulder injury, as doctors had forbidden him from straining his shoulders, though he was willing to take the risk for the sake of commitment. However, it was finally decided that ‘Ra one’ be postponed and instead Farah Khan should start her ‘Happy New Year’, as that needed no action scenes to be performed.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan will be returning to box office next year with a vengeance and his most awaited films will rock the box office. For instance, Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ has already been finalized for a worldwide release on the valentine day of February 12.
