The Google India also promised that the final winner’s doodle will appear on Google.co.in all day on Children’s day, November 14th 2009.So the Lucky and creative Puru Pratap Singh -My India Doodle won and voted as best doodle and right now is displayed as ‘Google Logo’ of the day.
The 4th standard student of Amity school Gurgaon is the winner and his doodle got selected from over 4000 doodles submitted by students across the country, and was selected based on artistic merit, creativity, and expression of the theme .
Puru Pratap Singh has expressed that India is the country which has blend of thousands tradition and all the religions. Puru Pratap Singh’s ‘My India full of life’ doodle displays, ‘G’ in the shape of a peacock; ‘O’ represents the wisdom of India; ‘O’ again shows the discovery of water on the moon by India; ‘G’ shows that part of India which is known as paradise on earth - Kashmir; ‘L’ is designed as the rifle at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate; and ‘E’ depicts, the ‘Father of the Nation,’ Mahatma Gandhi.
Puru was helped by his mother, Arti Singh, Art teacher on the artwork and the thinking of concept was done by his father, N.P. Singh.
